Controlling one's thoughts and being aware of one's speech to the extent that they only utter positive words, both silently and verbally is a goal everyone would benefit from. How we apply the thought control has an absolute direct affect on our health and weight. In order to reprogram self defeating thoughts, or re- script the inner voice of negativity. (briefly explained) The mental activity behind the though sends out ergs of EMOTION and INTELLIGENCE (unstoppable radiation); this emotion and intelligence together starts a rate of vibration of electrons and protons in the atoms, according to the nature and emotions behind the thought (emotion has its degree of voltage.) These atoms congregate atoms of like nature to form molecules, molecules form compounds and compounds form physical matter that mankind can perceive and use for their needs and wants.

The mind being the seat of consciousness must be understood in it's capacity in order for us to have self control. The subconscious mind is the driver we seldom think about, but it is the one in control, since all information and emotional energy ...reaction is stored there. Unless you practice being in the moment or have the tools to be aware we find ourselves on auto pilot and are just going through the motion of our daily routine. It's the holidays, time to be loving, thankful, merciful, and forgiving. Now, not just to your family and friends, but to yourself. The more you love yourself and your body, the more control you will have when indulging in this seasons festivities. Loving yourself is key. When we have the ability to love and accept all aspects of our self (body included) we want only what is best, much like when you care for others. The body's needs are simple, fresh air, clean water, healthy food or any food, since the body will do it's very best to pull and utilize the nutrients out of what ever you eat, and of course, the proper rest and exercise. The mind however is everything, what you think you become. This is the time of year when people all over the world create the energy of a" mass-consciousness." The accumulation of like minded energy, falling under the universal law of Likes Attracts Likes. Millions of people all want to have a healthy trimmer new year. To me, this is a bonus opportunity to draw the positive health affirming energy from the etheric. That which has similarity will be in sympathy or be compatible with that of like nature. (energy) Hypnotherapy sessions to reinforce healthier eating habits and consistent behavior towards meditation and exercise will be optimized. Timing is always a factor in any endeavor. Being guided and prepared with a hypnotherapist will increase success. There are a few things to know.

  1. 88% of brain power comes from the subconscious mind.
  2. Understand the full definition to the WORDS you use. (words have power)
  3. Do not use the word lose in conjunction with weight. (the subconscious mind knows the definition to lose is FAIL , not winning!)
  4. Remember relaxation allows the energy to flow without being blocked by tension and stress.

The most important thing is awareness, be aware of any imbalance between the conscious and subconscious mind. A balanced positive outlook on life brings beneficial manifestations.

This weeks comments and emails on hypnotherapy have been great, I would like to go a little deeper into the benefits of hypnotherapy on the mind and body.

It all really starts with your core belief system, what you believe about yourself and your abilities to succeed, at really anything, but for the purpose of this blog I will stay with weight loss. There are some people who just don't think that they will ever be a healthy weight. These people have tried diet after diet with some good results, but living with constant attention on anything causes stress and stress raises your cortical hormone, and that makes you hold on to fat. We can can see that what you think and stress about can work against you in getting and keeping a healthy weight. With hypnotherapy your therapist will guide you into a state of very deep relaxation, during this process we speak directly to the subconscious mind which has become open and receptive to new beliefs and ideas. When we bypass the conscious critical mind there are no objections to creating our desired self, your true you is given the opportunity to take root and flourish. It really can be an empowering experience most people are happy to rid themselves of limiting and often harmful thoughts and replace them with their new design of how they want to be.

Hypnotherapy for Weight Loss

Well let me just start by saying I do not like the title of this post, however I felt I needed to get your attention, so with that said let me explain.

The mind does not like loss it does not enjoy loss because loss is a negative, so the subconscious mind only hears " weight" then all of a sudden some sort of food restriction and diet has been implemented and the poor mind sends the message of impending starvation, so naturally we move into self preservation mode and the mind tells the body slow down, conserve as much energy as possible. The result is quite easy to see, you stay fat.

Now I'm not discounting that with the right amount of determination and effort you won't lose weight by dieting, you can, but when you realize that you can't diet forever, or if you sustain some injury and can no longer keep up with an exercise program your body will take back what it thinks it lost. Fat, and so begins the process of putting the weight back on that so many people have experienced.

Now if you could communicate directly to the subconscious mind your true desire, you could then begin the process of reprogramming, teaching and training the mind to fulfill your new desired state, and the mind will comply, because it received the message in a positive life affirming way!

This is one of the many reasons why hypnosis and hypnotherapy have such a powerful and long lasting effect on weight management.
