Well let me just start by saying I do not like the title of this post, however I felt I needed to get your attention, so with that said let me explain.
The mind does not like loss it does not enjoy loss because loss is a negative, so the subconscious mind only hears " weight" then all of a sudden some sort of food restriction and diet has been implemented and the poor mind sends the message of impending starvation, so naturally we move into self preservation mode and the mind tells the body slow down, conserve as much energy as possible. The result is quite easy to see, you stay fat.
Now I'm not discounting that with the right amount of determination and effort you won't lose weight by dieting, you can, but when you realize that you can't diet forever, or if you sustain some injury and can no longer keep up with an exercise program your body will take back what it thinks it lost. Fat, and so begins the process of putting the weight back on that so many people have experienced.
Now if you could communicate directly to the subconscious mind your true desire, you could then begin the process of reprogramming, teaching and training the mind to fulfill your new desired state, and the mind will comply, because it received the message in a positive life affirming way!
This is one of the many reasons why hypnosis and hypnotherapy have such a powerful and long lasting effect on weight management.
